fuckyeahtattoos: this quote is from on the road, by jack kerouac. the whole section is “the only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding across the stars, and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes ‘awww!’” i got this tattoo as a promise, a responsibility, and a reminder to myself to always be in love with life. it’s in typewriter font because the original on the road manuscript was written on a 120-foot scroll of paper that kerouac fed into his typewriter so that he would never have to stop writing to load a new page.
